Shang Philosophy is named after the founder, (Dr.) Lisa Boo, consisting of her own philosophy about Beauty Aesthetics, and moreover, students and customers can build their own unique personalities and increase self-confidence levels in order to become more motivated and their future look bright.

Shang Philosophy Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive training courses for individuals aspiring to establish academies, with the goal of empowering industry talents to disseminate knowledge and technology to the public. With a rich history spanning 15 years in this industry, our center has been instrumental in assisting 752 industry professionals in obtaining the prestigious Kursus Induksi SLDN (Open Learning) certificates. This accomplishment has significantly benefited the majority of industry talents in Malaysia. Our commitment extends to furnishing students with cutting-edge and enduring support, offering valuable insights into the latest trends relevant to initiating a course or academy. We also provide essential information on the requisite criteria for obtaining relevant certificates. SHANG FOUNDER STORY

Dr. Lisa Boo Kim Hiok is the Founder of Shang Philosophy Group Sdn. Bhd, Professional Skill Training Centre, TVET Eduhub Berhad, and Shang Philosophy Business Academy. She started conducting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) since 2006, and is a Malaysia Industrial Professional Trainer (B439). Dr. Lisa obtained multiple beauty and training credentials, including Malaysia Certified Trainer in Cosmetology, OE Entrepreneurs Training Program, and received her Honorary Doctorate Degree in Entrepreneurship in 2019.

Raised by a single mother, Dr. Lisa was taught to have an independent character and to be self-reliant. To Dr. Lisa, education is equitable, and it is her mission to provide exposure to everyone about Vocational Skills Certification. Her objective is to promote TVET in Malaysia and help workers to realize their potential.

Initially, Dr. Lisa realized that many people did not understand nor recognize TVET. Hence, she started creating awareness to the community about the importance for every sector's worker to develop professional skills and obtain a certificate recognizable by the Malaysian government, and was slowly able to inspire individuals to attain these certificates with confidence. Lisa persevered as a trainer because she realized her passion still lies in education even after her career switched towards direct marketing. Seeing the countless students she had trained becoming successful motivates her greatly.

In 2022, she achieved the record of "Most Teachers to Obtain SLDN Certificate" (Malaysia Book of Records). In 2020, she received the Spirit of Entrepreneur Awards (Universal Entrepreneur Magazine), listed in Successful People in Malaysia 2020, and Enterprises Education Top 100 in China 2019. Dr. Lisa is also the President of Malaysian Technical and Vocational Education Association (PPTVM) and World Entrepreneur Institute (WEI). Moving forward, Lisa plans to incubate 30 businesses annually to become JPK accredited training centres, and rapidly expand her education business nationwide within five years.
